Wow. That’s a mouthful.
My name is Miles Howe. Among other things, I’m a musician.
Starting on Wednesday, September 8th, I’ll be riding an Ezee Torq across the country, from Nanaimo to Halifax. I estimate that this trip will take about two months. Let me first thank and acknowledge the Snuneymuxw First Nation for having me as a guest on their traditional territory over this past year. I have appreciated the hospitality.

Ultra Motor has announced that its A2B electric bike is now available for purchase at 20 Best Buy locations on the west coast, including Los Angeles, Portland, and the San Francisco Bay area.

In the electric bicycle community, many view this as a regressive step that will hurt the industry and the Ultra Motor brand. As a person who has sold electric bicycles at both the wholesale and retail level, one factor that is paramount is customer support.

What tires should I have on my electric bike?

The type of tires on your electric bicycle can be a more important decision than the tires on your conventional bicycle. For the average rider, electric bikes are traveling at higher speeds than a conventional bike. They are also a bit heavier due to the battery and motor weight and the fact that people often are carrying laptops, groceries, and the other paraphernalia associated with urban commuting. Good traction under a wide variety of conditions is important to the urban bike commuter.
